SPY

I'm in Spy this Friday 30th at 8.30pm. It's on Sky. So I can't watch it. But if you can, tune in. Tell me how it went.

Quick, whilst I've worked out how to do this...

They've changed how blogger.com works. I've found how to do this update by magic and there's no knowing if I'll ever get back on here again. So, whilst I'm here..... I just found this review of the play High Vis I performed last year. Written by Clara Brennan and directed by Hannah Price it was one of my favourite things I've ever done ever.  I've never seen any reviews of it before so I'm posting the link (then at least I'll know where to find it if I need it again). I'm not tech savvy but I've really sussed filing. The Stage review of High Vis

Filming SPY was tremendous fun and I got to dress as a copper on the old set of The Bill. I now have a picture of me outside Sunhill. Cue bogus credit appearing on my CV some day soon.

And I'm doing Scene and Heard again. A brilliant charity based in Euston working with kids in the area, I'll be acting in what will certainly be a terrific play - they always are. Last time I was a Prit-stick so the bar is set pretty high.

Spy

And so it's time to leave the park, don the police costume and start filming Spy for Sky. I figure this will air sometime in the Autumn......

And I meant to say

that I'm also in The Offer, one of the plays directed by Jen Lunn as part of the latest Write Here programme at the Brockley Jack. And now I have.

See you on Dave?

And this is how you find out how many people watch Dave and how often. It's a lot and a lot. My Only Fools and Horses ident is playing, apparently constantly based on the number of people who have commented on it. It's only a matter of time before the grumpy jester work starts flooding in.....

Only Fools.....

It's a conundrum working out what warrants space on this piece of high end e-real estate. My aim is to update on what I'm working on but I've made some kind of decision to leave writing out of that (about to finish the second draft of treatments for our sitcom as it happens but the fact the I've nearly ticked that off my to do list doesn't seem newsworthy). On Saturday I filmed an ident for GOLD. About some office workers being forced to dress as fools and horses to celebrate Only Fools And Horses month on GOLD. My character had to looked pissed off at having to dress as a jester for work. It wasn't hard to channel. Actually it was a lovely idea and deserves to be very funny. But is it news?

Gulliver's Travels BBC Radio 4

My turn as Queen Liliput and The Empress of Blefusco hits the radio waves on Sunday 5th February - 3pm, Radio 4. And then it's on listen again. And then it's repeated on Saturday 11th. It's a lovely script by Matt Broughton and directed by the marvellous Sam Hoyle. Yay!
