To Russia For Love

Hot on the heels of our lovely show at The Arcola, tomorrow I'm taking part in To Russia For Love, a fundraiser for Stonewall. I'm performing a wonderful scene from Turgenev's A Month In The Country with Ms Alys Torrance. Artistic Director Jen Lunn talks about the project in The Indy here.

The Story Project 5: Fame, Fear and Fables

And so to The Story Project at The Arcola. I'm in a play called The Boy Who Never Learned To Fly and we open on 19th October. I shall be cracking out a Lancashire accent which should be worth the ticket price alone. So if you see me walking down the street muttering 'Betty's hotpot' under my breath, that's why.

And a little bit later......

So, jumping forward a few months, Entertaining Angels was a really enjoyable tour (it really was. I'm not even pretending in a bid to make my life look better than yours). There were reviews and they are here (leftlion), here (the stage) and here (reviewsgate). I particularly like the one that says Judith Faultless is terrific as wife Mel. But that's just me.
